Phu Quoc is the biggest island in Vietnam, belonging to the groups of island of Gulf of Thailand which is located in Kien Giang (in the West of Vietnam). It is considered as an international centre of travel and trade as well as a famous tourist attraction site.
Its area is 567 km2 (56.700 ha) with the length of 49 km. It totally has 99 hills, and mountains, and a channel in the South whose depth is about 60m.
Found out by a Chinese man named Mac Cuu in 1671, Phu Quoc now has become a prosperous island.

Ganh Dau cape: Ganh Dau cape is located at Ganh Dau Commune, Phu Quoc island. It has a primitive beauty, and a bow-shaped beach. Especially, you can see the sea border of Combodia from here.
Dinh Cau cape: It is a natural rocky reef whose shape is very weird. On the peak of the highest rock is an ancient temple surrounded by many ancient trees which are more than a century years old. This is an ideal place to watch sunset.
Thom island: It is in the North of Phu Quoc island. Tourists can come here to visit the area of feeding sea animals, and pearls. You also can experience of diving.
Tranh stream: It is in the North East of Phu Quoc, attracting tourists due to its picturesque beauty.
Dai beach: Dai beach is in the North West of Phu Quoc, has been voted as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world by BBC. Its length is 1,500m. There is a line of high and green trees along with bank of sand.

Phu Quoc Prison: Considered as the most scary and most worth-seeing site at Phu Quoc, Cay Dua (Phu Quoc) prison was built in the period of Indochina War. Here, more than 32.000 prisoners was detained, 4000 people was killed, and thousands of people got disable. Now, visiting Phu Quoc prison , tourists can witness cruel punishments prisoners suffered from here by seeing simulation models.
Nguyen Trung Truc temple: It is 25km from Duong Dong town to Ghenh Dau. It was built in honor to Nguyen Trung Truc’s contribution to the country.
Coi Nguon Museum: it is the place where more than 3.000 ancient things, including 300 precious documents in Chinese, Vietnamese, English, and French.
