Mr. Huynh (Centre of Vietnam):
Huynh is an excellent guide. He
explained all the places to us
in great detail. He took us
through a Bahnar village and we
met Rit, a young lady who spoke
very good English and hopes to
be a tour guide. I believe she
will do well in this area. Our
trip to the Tri Border area was
most interesting. We then went
to Eva Coffee in Kon Tum. What a
wonderful place to visit. It was
so peaceful there. Thank you to
Huynh for a very memorable tour.

Mr. Luong
(Guide in the North): Mr. Luong
was an excellent guide. The
professional dress and welcome
at the airport led me to feel
that we were going to be very
well cared for—right at the
start. I appreciated Mr.
Luong’s and the other guides’
willingness to answer questions
and to accommodate our varying
needs, especially with a group
so large and so diverse, in
terms of age. Dropping Eugene
off at the snake village and
helping Mike rearrange flights
were two examples of this.
Mr. Co (Guide
in the Centre) Mr. Co was a
great guide whose distinct
personality—his love for English
idioms, his willingness to tell
his own story, and his respect
for the differences and
similarities of people as
citizens of the world—made this
portion of the trip very
special—truly different and
unexpected. I felt Mr. Co gave
us great advice—about shopping,
taxis, etc.—but never did so to
profit himself. He never told
us with whom to do business,
just what he felt was fair to
expect. (This was so different
from what we experienced with
our guides in China with a
different agency.)

Hi Luong! Thank you
so much for the pictures. I am so sorry that I
have not sent in my questionnaire until now. My
sister has not been in good health since my
return so I have been quite occupied.
You and your staff did an amazing job working
with our group! Every aspect of our time in
Vietnam was very carefully planned and
organized. Every guide was professional,
extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Our
accommodations were fantastic and the food was
wonderful (even though I was a vegetarian on the
trip! - I say this because after every meal the
satisfaction was clearly evident on each of the
faces of the tour members!!!) You and your staff
were extremely accommodating from making extra
stops for restroom breaks to having items we
left behind at the various hotels/boats where we
stayed shipped to us later in the tour! (Thank
you again for retrieving my swimsuit from the
boat in Ha Long Bay!!!) You also went above and
beyond in acknowledging the MANY birthdays we
seemed to have while in Vietnam. I can't even
begin to tell you how moved I was by my birthday
celebration! I will always remember my 33rd
birthday because it began with roses! Thank you
again for being so thoughtful! Thanks to you and
your staff the teachers on our tour will be able
to enrich their classroom instruction on Vietnam
and the Vietnamese people. Thank you for sharing
your beautiful country with us.
I wish you the best of luck with your business,
but I do not think you need any luck. The hard
work, determination, and quality of your company
speaks for itself! Please let me know if I can
ever help in any way to convey to future
potential clients what a wonderful business you
are guiding.
I hope you and your family are doing well!
All the best,
Michelle Luckadoo

1. Guide (s):
Mr. Son (Guide in the
North): Was very pleasant, gave us a lot of
information, especially about Ho Chi Minh’s
history. Always helped with the luggage, and
made little jokes as we drove around. I was
very happy with his willingness to help us.
Mr. Hai (Guide in the
Centre): Also very informative in regards
the Cham museum, and My Son Sanctuary. Very
pleasant.
Mr. Thoai (Guide in the
South): Thoai was an excellent Guide. Helped
us in every way that he could. Willing to
take our photo’s, organised our meals, (or
making sure we new what we where going to
eat), helping us onto the boats. He was very
friendly, and had a ready smile.

Dear Mai,
Many thanks for your email and your
questionaire.(The questionaire is a very
acceptable form of contact in Australia) I
arrived home last night, and I am off again
tomorrow for a week to the Australian Eastern
States. As you can imagine, I am still trying to
catch up with all my commitments. Both my
partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to
Vietnam.
This was made possible by your personal input
and the genuine interest you displayed during
our stay in Vietnam. Gia Linh Travel executives
are very fortunate in having such a lovely Tour
Manager as yourself.

Hello Tan, Luong and
Dan,
How are you all? I hope you are doing well.
After a long trip and long flights back to home,
now i'm back to my normal life. Few days after
got back home, I read on newspaper about the
flood in Hanoi, I felt so bad! it make me
thinking, wow! we were there, and that was the
last day of our trip, when we went back from Ha
Long Bay to Hanoi, I heard Dan talked on the
phone the rain there the day before, I thought
it's just rain, but it's not like that, it's
flooding! as we came into the town, I remembered
that Tung ( the driver ) tried several ways to
get us to Gia Ling office, but he could not, he
had to turned around because the road was
flooded, the car could not get through. It was
unbelievable!. When we got back to the hotel,
the rain was slow down, but then it rain again,
to tell you the truth, I did prayed for it's
stop raining, so Tung can drive the car in to
pick us up, luckily, by the time we leave, the
rain was slowing down again, we were able got
to the airport. Que took some pictures of the
flood from the hotel where we stayed, it was a
memory for us. My best wish to you and your
family, and I hope every things are stable by
now.
