Thank you for a wonderful two weeks in Vietnam. My adopted Vietnamese son who is 14 and I would like to visit again, when he completes his High School studies in 3 years :)

1. Guide (s):

Mr. Luong (Guide in the North): Terrific help in our journey throughout Vietnam. Very knowledgeable and handled any problem. Thank you !!

Mr. Co (Guide in the Centre): Again, very helpful and knowledgeable. Each of our guides has a superior grasp of their part of the country and listening and learning from them was a pleasure.!!

Mr. Tung (Guide in the South): Super, would recommend any of your guides.

2. Accommodation:

Sofitel Plaza Hotel (In Hanoi): Excellent!!

Imperial Hotel (in Hue): Excellent !!

Golden Sand Resort (In Hoi An) : Excellent, hope to visit here again.

Equatorial Hotel (in Ho Chi Minh City): Good, but had problems cooling down the rooms.

Victoria Hotel (In Can Tho): Excellent, would like to try their hotel in the Sapa region.

Angkor Palace Resort (in Siem Reap)

3. Transport (Land, water and air):

All of our travels were tremendous. Flying, the busses, the boats, simply Outstanding!!!

4. Restaurants:

Excellent, I was never disappointed in any of the restaurant meals !!!!

5. Places you visited:

I will definitely have a better grasp of Vietnam when I teach this year, the sights were excellent. Everywhere we went, people were friendly and helpful. It was simply overwhelming and deserves a second trip to absorb more. There was nothing boring about the Vietnam experience

6. Design and management of your tour:

Very well designed and managed. I look forward to traveling to Vietnam again in the future.

7. Are there any recommendations or criticisms of services, restaurants, shops, visit sites and so on that you’ve visited on your own?

My only disappointment as a teacher was that we did not get to visit a school and/or have a round table discussion with students and faculty from either a middle school, ages 12-15, or a high school level, ages 15-18. This would have been very interesting to see how they view their education and compare the difficulties and challenges that they face compared to US students. Also, speaking to faculty and listening to what they go through and how they manage their schools.
