Guide (s):
Mr. Luong (Guide in the
North): Mr. Luong was an excellent guide. He began the tour by coming to the
airport at a very, very late hour to pick us up and get us to our hotel. He gave
us great tips about where to eat, how to keep ourselves safe, how to use the
taxis, and most importantly, how to cross the street in Hanoi! As a teacher, I
appreciated the facts and information he gave us at the various sites. I also
appreciated his sense of humor throughout the trip.
Mr. Co (Guide in the Centre)Mr.
Co was informative and helpful, also. He actually took us to the drug store one
evening and helped us purchase medicine.
Mr. Tung (Guide in the South)
Mr. Tung was very engaging and informative. He brought his personal experiences
into our learning experience and we truly appreciated that!
2. Accommodation:
Sofitel Plaza Hotel (In Hanoi)
Excellent service and amenities!
Imperial Hotel (in Hue)
Possibly the most beautiful room I’ve ever stayed in!
Golden Sand Resort (In Hoi An)
Beautiful! Great pool! Food a bit over-priced. I appreciated the free shuttle
bus downtown.
Equatorial Hotel (in Ho Chi
Minh City)A nice clean room but couldn’t keep it cooled enough at night. Also,
appreciated the free shuttle, here.
Victoria Hotel (In Can Tho)
Very clean and beautiful! Wish we could’ve stayed a bit longer.
Angkor Palace Resort (in Siem
Reap) Did not attend.
3. Transport (Land, water and air):
All transportation was great
and I appreciated the negotiation on baggage weight! Bus drivers in all
locations were very skilled and very helpful.
4. Restaurants:
5. Places you visited:
6. Design and management of your tour:
The design of the tour was
practically flawless. It was one of the best experiences of my life!
7. Are there any recommendations or criticisms
of services, restaurants, shops, visit sites and so on that you’ve visited on
your own?
Continue safety
briefings-especially warn of the pickpockets in the bigger cities. |
