Destination: My Tho-Ben Tre
Highlights: Visit the quiet capital city of
Tien Giang Province, the gateway to Mekong Delta with a lot of beautiful scenery
and as always lots of beautiful people. Take a boat ride to the floating markets
in the back water of the delta where anchor numerous boats bringing produce to
sell. Stop at one of the islands in the middle of the Mekong River to visit
fruit orchards and enjoy traditional music show. Feel warm before the
hospitality of the local people.
Details Itinerary:
8.30 - 10.00: You'll be taken to My Tho, a city
nearby Ho Chi Minh City.
10.00 - 15.00: You'll take a boat trip to cruise
on the Mekong River and rowing through small canals and channels. You'll have
chance to sample some of area's tropical fruits and watch a traditional music
show. You'll climb back on the boat to visit a coconut candy workshop.
15.00 - 16.45: You'll drive back to Ho Chi Minh
City.
