Ha Tien is a small town in the north of Kien Giang province. It is located along sea with mountains, plains, rivers, caves, and islands.
How to get to Ha Tien? Ha Tien is 350 km from the city. There is no airport in this city. Therefore, you have to catch a coach to get to Ha Tien from the West station in Ho Chi Minh City, which takes about 7-8 hours at the cost of VND 130.000 – 150.000 per one per way. Coaches considered reputable are Phuong Trang’s or Mai Linh’s.
When arriving in Ha Tien, you should hire a motorbike at the cost of VND 150.000 per day to explore the tourist attractions.

Food and drink: If you arrive at Mui Nai, you should try a soup of fish cooked with lemon grass, turmeric, and bamboo shoots. You also should try some other dishes such as “fish noodle”, dried cuttlefish, spidercrab noodles, herring salad, etc.
Attraction site: You can visit some places in Ha Tien town like: Phu Dung pagoda, Lo Gach pagoda, Mac Cuu mausoleum, Mac family’s temple, a coconut tree of 4 branches.
Besides, you can visit some places outside Ha Tien like: Rock’s cave, Da Dung mountain, Mui Nai beach. From this, you also can get to Campuchia through Xa Xia border gate, and explore Kampot, Kep, and Sihanouk ville.
