  1. Han River Bridge

Han River Bridge has long been a symbol of Da Nang tourism and a great pride of local people. It is the first swing bridge to be built in Vietnam. In the evening, you will have opportunity to enjoy the colorful and sparkling beauty of it.

  1. Dragon Bridge

Its construction completed in 2013. Dragon Bridge is listed as the bridge with the most unique structure in Vietnam. The six lane bridge emulates the shape of the dragon in Ly Dynasty.

Situated on the foot of Marble Mountain, the village is specialized in decorating items, household items and souvenirs. Found in the century 18, most of villagers started this traditional job in the century 19. The building was begun construction since 1915 and until 1936, it was completed and opened to welcome visitors.

In this period, the Museum was managed by the School of Ancient Far East of Hanoi. Actually, more than 20 years before the construction, Cham artifacts were found in the area of Da Nang, Quang Nam and neighboring provinces. A photo taken in the early twentieth century shows the selected location to focus the exhibits were a large wooded mound, churches, willing stone statues scattered outdoors.

The collection of Cham sculptures from the late nineteenth century was made by French archaeologists, especially those who work for the School of Ancient Far East of France (L ‘Ecole Francais d’ Extreme – Orient, short EFEO) and colleagues Vietnam

The gallery hall was built with the familiar pattern of ancient Cham tower, especially the roof of the museum is very similar to the ancient towers.

Currently the museum has 297 original works from the seventh century until the fifteenth century. These works are made of sandstone and terracotta. These objects have characteristics typical of Cham sculpture, an ancient, massive and talented art in Vietnam. Cham sculpture has a close relationship to the structure. Temples, palaces, towers, churches are scattered along the coast of central zone of Vietnam

By the magic hands, Cham artisans vividly represented the beauty of human being, animal under forms of myths about the gods of Hinduism such as Linga, god creator Brahma, god Vishnus (god of conservation), god Xiva (god of destruction) …

The artifacts in the museum of Cham sculpture are exhibited in 4 rooms and 3 halls: My Son room, Tra Kieu room, Indochina room, Thap Man room. Exhibits objects also are placed in the corridors connecting rooms..

The yard in front of the gallery is full of great old trees that make the scene more  original with ancient breath .

In the fourth century, the Cham king Bhadravarnan came to My Son, a isolated and discreet place to build the cathedral of the Hindu deity of the kingdom Champa place. The first temple was built of wood to worship the god Siva. This deity is shown in the form of a Limga Limga-the first one in Southeast Asia.

Two centuries later, the temple was burned in one severe fire. In the early seventh century, King Sambhuvarman rebuilt the temple with more sustainable materials. And this place has become the cathedral of the kingdom of Champa.

Since then, almost all coming dynasties Cham Kings built new temples or restored ruined ones in My Son. They also spent a lot of gold, silver and jewels, slaves, cattle to pray to God to protect their throne. Each King set here a stone stele to record his merits.

The remaining steles of today have helped us to understand more about the sanctuary.

The architectural monuments left in My Son show that this place was deserted, destroyed by war, many towers are gone. My Son is now only about 20 works that represent the art of architecture of Cham from the seventh century until the thirteenth century. The most prominent is the group temples were built in the tenth century

Tower temples in My Son are built of red brick, no coating of lime between the bricks and mortar. The towers are quadrangle.  Tower‘s roof is stacked by many levels , the higher layer  the sharper it is. Main tower gate has decorations depicting people, animals, plants and flowers with many different and agile looks.

In the main temple they often worship a linga, which represents the god Siva, who destroyed and created the universe but also worship his human image.

Small temples worship other gods such as god of thunder, Indra, Surya the sun god, the god of war Skanda ..
