 Located in center of Bac Ha , Sao Mai is a popular
place to stay and the rooms are clean and pleasant. The hotel has three
sections: an older concrete building
and two recently built wooden houses
The restaurant/bar has outdoor seating under plum
trees and offers a range of local and international dishes at very reasonable
prices.
The Sao Mai is in a quiet area a few minutes walk
from Bac Ha Market. A four-kilometre trek takes you to Ban Pho. A further two
kilometres leads to the house of a former H'mong king.
